Refund Policy

Last updated 7 November 2026 · applies to all purchases at this store

Read this before you buy. It is short, and it exists so that neither of us has to argue later.

The one-sentence version

Two whole domains of the real course are free, so you can test the actual product before paying. Once you have seen it working and chosen to unlock it, the sale is final — with the narrow exceptions below.

The free tier is not a demo video. It is the actual app: the full interface, the Foundation domain, and all of Security Concepts, with the same drills, the same rank ladder, and the same spaced repetition you get after paying. Use it before you buy.

1. What is refundable

Your situationOutcome
You bought a licence key and have not used it, within 14 days of purchaseRefunded in full. The key is voided.
The key does not work, and we cannot make it workRefunded in full, or a replacement key if you prefer.
The product does not do what this website says it doesRefunded in full once we confirm the fault.
You bought it twice by accidentThe duplicate is refunded.
You unlocked the course and decided it isn't for youNot refundable. See section 2.
You studied for three weeks and want your money backNot refundable.
You passed, or failed, or booked, or postponed the examNot refundable. The exam is not part of this product.
You lost your progress by clearing browser data or using a private windowNot refundable. The app warns you when storage is blocked.
You want a refund because a pack you had not bought was withdrawnNot applicable — you were never charged for it.

2. Once a key is used, the sale is final

A licence key is not a licence to try — it is the thing you buy after trying. Revealing or activating a key delivers the entire product at once, permanently, with nothing to return. That is why used keys are not refundable, and why the free tier is as large as it is.

3. If you are in the UK or EU

Consumer law in the UK and EU gives you a 14-day right to cancel a distance purchase. For digital content delivered immediately, that right ends when supply begins only if you gave express consent to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you would lose the cancellation right. We ask for exactly that at checkout.

Nothing in this policy reduces rights you have that cannot be excluded by agreement — including your right to digital content that is as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality.

4. How to ask

Email the address on your receipt with the subject line Refund request, within 14 days of purchase, and include:

Email hello@echelonstudy.com with your order email. We reply within two business days. If we approve, the refund goes back to your original payment method through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, normally inside 5–10 business days. Approved refunds void the key: it stops working, and any further use of it is unauthorised.

5. Chargebacks

If you believe you are owed a refund, ask us first. A payment dispute filed with your bank while a support conversation is open usually takes longer to resolve, costs both sides money, and results in the key being blocked anyway. We would rather just answer the email.

6. Prices, packs and practice tests

7. Changes

This policy applies to purchases made on or after the date at the top of this page. If it changes, the version that applied when you bought is the one that governs your order.
